FIRGUN CHAPTER SAJWAD
FIRGUN CHAPTER SAJWAD
A story held in stillness, soul, and the song of the mountains.
Tucked deep in Seraj Valley, just an hour beyond Jibhi, there's a village that doesn’t appear on many itineraries — but somehow, it stays with you. Sajwar. Forest-wrapped, ridge-lined, and heavy with the scent of pine and memory.
This is where Firgun begins a quieter chapter.
A home. A breath. A pause between the noise.
We call it Chapter Sajwar.
Here, time softens — through firewood-scented mornings, sunlit ridges, warm food, and conversations that don’t rush.
Walk forest trails, pause by waterfalls, or visit the lake where silence feels sacred.
Inside, our little studio holds stories carved in wood, shaped by hand and heart.
This isn’t a resort.
It’s a return — to stillness, to simplicity, to the quiet joy of just being.

Earthy Private Room With Balcon
Grounded in nature and crafted with care, the Earthly Room invites you into a space of calm and quietude.
Built in the traditional Kathkuni architectural style using stone and timber, this room is rooted—both literally and emotionally—in the land it stands on.
Natural textures, warm lighting, and the subtle scent of wood create a nurturing environment that encourages rest and reflection.
Step out onto your private balcony and you’re met with the stillness of the mountains and the rustle of forest air.
It’s a peaceful nook for slow mornings, journaling, or simply breathing in solitude.
With clean, comfortable bedding, serene surroundings, and access to our in-house café serving wholesome, homemade meals, the Earthly Room is more than a stay—it’s a return to something timeless and deeply human.
Attic Private Room With Balcony
Tucked beneath the sloping wooden eaves, the Attic Room feels like a secret haven in the sky.
Sunlight pours in through its windows, casting a soft glow across the warm wood interiors.
This cozy, elevated space invites you to slow down and sink into quiet moments—whether with a book, a thought, or the hush of your own breath.
It’s a place where time feels suspended, perfect for dreamers, writers, and anyone craving stillness above the noise.
The private balcony offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the valley below—changing with every hour and season.
Wake up to golden sunrises, gaze at starlit skies by night, and feel the mountain air wrap gently around you.
Thoughtfully designed and deeply peaceful, the Attic Room is an inspiring hideaway that lifts you out of the everyday and into something softer, slower, and more soulful.
Cafe of Sajwad

Walk in and the air shifts—books leaning into each other, spines worn, words heavy with time. Dostoevsky waits on a shelf, the Karamazov brothers staring back, while nearby, someone’s left a half-finished poem between dog-eared pages. You'll find Kafka's quiet unease, the tangled truths of The Trial, resting beside the elegance of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice—a shelf that holds both shadow and light, chaos and charm.
The walls aren’t just walls—they carry art, raw and unapologetic. Some pieces hang straight, some a little tilted. You don’t just look at them. You stop. You wonder. Maybe you remember something.
A game of cards might unfold at the next table—quiet rivalry, bursts of laughter, the kind of ease you don’t plan for. The food arrives without a fuss—siddu steaming, dal and chawal that taste like your childhood sat down beside you. Chutney with a kick. Ghee where it should be. It doesn’t shout. It settles in.
Outside the window, the mountains stand like old gods—stoic, patient, watching. You stare. You forget time. Inside, music plays—the kind you don’t notice at first, until suddenly, you do. And then it’s in your bones.
Surroundings of Sajwad

Around every turn, something quietly beautiful waits. Sunsets here don’t just end the day — they soften it, spilling light across the trees, casting long shadows on the hills. And when night falls, the sky comes alive. On a clear evening, stars gather by the thousands, and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch the Milky Way stretching overhead, like a secret the mountains decided to share.
Every part of the valley is wrapped in green. The trails are lined with tall pines, mossy stones, and the hush that only old forests know. Walk down to the riverside — it’s where time feels slower. Maybe bring a book, or a sketchpad. Maybe bring nothing at all. Just listen to the water, let your thoughts catch up.
There are waterfalls hidden in the woods, and they’re not just for looking at — take a dip, feel the cold water run through your veins, and you’ll understand why people call it magic. The village path winds gently, with kids playing stapoo, old homes leaning into each other, and always, someone offering you a smile that feels like it belongs to an old friend. And right beside you, every step of the way, is Simba, our dog — your silent, loyal guide on the trails.
If your feet are restless, there’s more. Lambri Top, a ridge that gives you the sky. Serolsar Lake, hidden high and still, a place so quiet it feels like prayer.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
We’ll help you explore all of this — at your pace, in your way.
Because Sajwar isn’t just about going places. It’s about what you find when you let the place come to you.
